Welcome to my photo blog!

I hope you will enjoy coming back frequently to view my images! I try to post almost all of the photography sessions that I do so that you can get a taste for my most recent work.

I've always loved photography. As kids, my sister and I would go into the hills near our home and try to take "professional" looking photos of each other- which, of course, resulted in some hilarious images that we still laugh at today. In high school I had so much fun taking photography classes, learning the darkroom, and enjoying as much free film as I wanted from my instructor! In college you wouldn't see me without my camera and I have about 10 photo-filled albums to prove it.

Now that I am a mother, my love for photography has grown even more. I'm obsessed with trying to capture the beautiful, smiling faces of my children and record the happy moments that we have together as a family. I love to display our memories all over the house for us to see every day.

This hobby has become my most favorite thing to do and it has brought me so much happiness over the last few years. It has kept me going through some difficult times and has fulfilled my need and desire to create. I feel like I owe so much to my husband who surprised me with my first really nice camera right when I needed it.

My hobby has now become a business, although I hate to call it that because really it is just so much fun that it can't be work. I love to meet new people, be out in nature, find new locations, capture the warm light at the end of the day, and create beautiful images for people.

What else do you want to know? My husband and I and our three (almost four) children live in Brentwood California. We love the bay area and would never want to live anywhere else. We grew up here and it just feels like home. In our spare time we love to be outdoors enjoying the weather and lots of family time.
